He was among the first African American students to ever attend Westchester County’s Furnace Woods Elementary, the Church of the Assumption Parish School in Peekskill, the Springville-Griffith Institute Middle School in Erie County, and the Nichols High School in Buffalo, NY.
In 1980, he received an academic math diploma from City Honors High School, Buffalo’s first totally integrated “magnet school” college prep program. He is also an alumnus of US Air Force’s Air University, as well as Foundation College in San Diego, CA.
A true success-oriented Renaissance man, Lance holds certifications in electronics engineering, multimedia technology, computer networking, website development, technical writing, project management, sales training, public speaking, and marketing consulting. He credits his early school experiences with making it possible for him to learn, grow, and achieve goals with confidence.
He is a passionate small business and veterans' employment advocate whose real-world experience includes military service, professional sales, and working as a Silicon Valley insider during the dot-com heyday of 1998-2001. A noted author and e-business consultant, Lance currently serves as the Managing Director of the SkyVault Group™ digital marketing agency (SkyVaultGroup.com).
The firm specializes in the use of web-centric, AI-driven video marketing systems designed to help small businesses contain their marketing costs, while growing their online sales at the same time.
The Group's most successful online venture to date is a national job site for military veterans, called We Hire Heroes™ (WeHireHeroes.us).
Currently, Lance is directing the launch of the Better Business Experts™ network of local business community resource centers. The maiden site is MyBetterBuffalo.com.

Lance T. Walker was born in November, 1962 in upstate New York. He was raised as a true “child ambassador”, being sent to integrate a total of four New York State school systems between 1967 and 1977.
